Merging the practice of mindfulness with the practice of yoga has led the way to a new and more intensive form of “Mindful Yoga.” Mindful yoga is the holistic approach of connecting your mind to your breath and to the body. The main focus is on mind-body awareness, as opposed to alignment details and the exact physical posture. The point is to cultivate mindfulness, using asana/postures as the vehicle in which to do so. In this class, you will have an opportunity to de-stress, ground and to be more grounded in order to flow with your day.
